Another issue with 8700c and VPN…

Another issue with 8700c and VPN…

Another issue with 8700c and VPN…
So, I've read through countless threads and could not find anything specific to my problem thus far. I thought I would take a stab to see if anyone has any ideas. Here's the situation:
I have 30+ 8700c Blackberry users with the tethering plan from AT Everyone is working just fine using our Cisco VPN client, except for one user. He connects with his 8700c and gets on the Internet with no problems. He starts up the VPN client, it talks to the gateway, he signs in, and everything appears to be working fine. It is when he tries to get into our intranet that nothing works, no email, no internal sites, etc. The Internet still works, just nothing internal.
I then take his Blackberry and hook it up to a different system with the same results. I take a different user's Blackberry with tethering and hook it up to his system and it works fine. So I think I've narrowed it down to the Blackberry. So, I reactivate him through our BES on a different 8700c. Hook it up to his system, same problem. Now I'm thinking it might be his profile on the BES, so I delete him and re-add him to the BES, reactivate his 8700c, hook it up to his system, same problem. He has the same BES policy as everyone else, so I don't think it's that.

What is a VPN?

VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) were first used by companies to enable their employees to securely access internal systems such as email remotely (e.g. from home or while on business trips). Today they are increasingly being used for personal use by individuals to protect their privacy while online in public places (e.g. when using the wi-fi connection in a cafe) or in a country where the internet is censored / blocked (e.g. China, Saudi Arabia).

Why do I need a VPN?

Whether youre an expat living in a foreign country where the internet is heavily regulated, a mobile user constantly on the road, or just someone concerned with maintaining their privacy online, having aVPNis becoming essential.
